Hi Everyone! Happy 2017. It is so hard to believe we are in a new year already. I meant to post this full day of eating video last week but got so caught up with work at my full-time job as a business development manager. A new year means starting the work year with a clean slate and a new quota. The pressure is real! Because I indulged over the holidays on sweets and carbs, I started the new year kicked out of ketosis. My first week back to work I was tired, sluggish, and unfocused. What a bad way to start the year! My experience is a perfect reminder of why I fell in love with the ketogenic diet and why I stopped eating carbs and sugars. A week later and I am already back to my normal self. It is amazing how much energy the ketogenic diet gives me. If only I had discovered the ketogenic diet sooner.

This video shows my full day of eating on my first day back on the ketogenic diet this year. You can see how drained I am in this video, but I think it is important to share. Hopefully it will motivate you all to stick with the ketogenic diet. Eating carbs and sugars over the holidays definitely wasn’t worth the energy drain I experienced as a result.
This year I do have a couple of goals in mind. I hate to call them New Year resolutions because somehow I feel those words just set me up for failure. My 2017 goals are to continue learning about the ketogenic diet, to consistently wake up at 4:30 AM, to include cardio in my workout routine every day, and to learn Korean. My mother is Korean and she really wishes for me to learn. If you have ever learned a second language, especially in your adult years, I would love to hear any suggestions you have in the comments below!
